Raw food diet, Beauty and weight loss – an inevitable connection

Raw food dietWhat does a raw food diet mean? How do you combine it with raw food recipes and how does this help? Is to survive on raw food and becoming vegan same thing or just similar in nature? Too many questions, I am trying to find some answers to this imploring questions. Raw food essentially means uncooked food. The logic or assumption that goes with it is if you heat a food item over above 118 degrees Fahrenheit, then it would lose all its natural nutritional qualities and would not give any benefit when consumed. Hence, frying, baking, sautéing, etc. are of no good.

What kind of food do you have in raw food diet? Well consuming raw food does not mean you have to go vegan. You can enjoy the non-vegan food such as meat and fish. It simply needs to be uncooked. Hence, along with veggies, go for the nuts, and fruits, all kinds of dairy products. Yet do not leave out the wonderful sushi and sashimi from your everyday raw food diet. You can also soak, sprout, pickle, blend in soups and indirectly steam to make the food a lot better. These can also be stored though not for long however avoid all kind of preservatives.

Why take raw food diet? There can be numerous reasons for a person to go on raw food diet or enjoy raw food recipes. First of the many reasons would be weight loss. Many people go on a weight loss program and opt for this diet. It certainly allows one to lose around 2 pound of weight per week if someone practically stays on this diet. The consideration that should well thought about is that it should be a well balanced one even when it is uncooked.

Second reason would be beauty. The raw food diet is rich not only in vitamins, antioxidants and minerals but rich in all the natural properties and qualities. These help the skin get better effects and cleanse it further. The water content in the uncooked food is high which also leaves the skin hydrated from inside giving a smooth and supple texture. If someone is looking for method to get a glowing skin, then raw food diet is the answer. Apart from this, the third reason would be that consuming raw food aids the digestive process as the enzymes get more effective action. Fourth, it also helps to boost the immune system.

Hence, enjoy the raw food diet or raw food recipes in a balanced proportion and be prized with enhanced beauty, glowing and hydrated skin, more energy to work with and certainly a wonderful figure after the weight loss.
